Salary: 20 hours per week (1,040 hours per year); at the minimum wage of $9.25 per hour (1/1/2018 new minimum wage rate). Position holder will cover day/hours when Programming Assistant is not scheduled that week. Additional hours beyond 20 hours per week when the Programming Assistant is off work.
This position is designed to provide the program director the assistance in the-day-to-day technical and non-technical duties. In addition provide support to our member productions and editing needs. In addition, candidate will be required to assist in all staff productions such as, but not limited to Home Builder’s Show, Memorial Day Parade, Monroe County Fair, Monroe Holiday Parade, and Christmas in Ida.
Some weekend hours are part of this position.
All MPACT employees are scheduled to work on Memorial Day to assist in the production of the annual Memorial Day Parade and wreath ceremony.

Applicants advancing to the second round of the interview process will be required to demonstrate a basic proficiency with the following software programs:
Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word;
Adobe Creative Suite- Specifically, Audition & Premiere Pro
Working knowledge with audio and video scheduling/automation software such as ENCO, Cablecast, Carousel, and
Natural Music will be a plus.
